How we do it: Devised and wrote a toolkit to identify skill needs at induction and other key stages in use across the NHS. This is being rewritten for other public sectors and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) 
Developed an on-line tool for the self-assessment of competences
 Devise a framework to ensure careers information and advice is available to all levels within organisations
Database research to produce a national helpline listing resources available for medium and advanced training: moderated to ensure accuracy and maintained for continuing relevance
Trained helpdesk staff to deliver telephone and e-advice.
